Capt. Chris Kohnert is a full-time private charter Captain and owner of SPI Guide Service. SPI Guide Service privately guides anglers for five (5), six & a half (6.5), and eight (8) hour trips on the pristine waters of the Lower Laguna Madre. Capt. Chris has been fishing the Lower Laguna Madre since 1983 and guaranties his customers’ first-class service along with first-class equipment. Running a new 2008 22’ Majek Illusion powered by a 2008 Evinrude 200HO E-Tec engine providing plenty of room and dependability for you and your guest(s). State of the art equipment including AllStar rods, Quantum reels, and EGO nets, along with the newest baits from Berkley, MirroLure, Nemire, and Texas Tackle Factory, makes for a trip to be remembered.
