Capt. Chris Kohnert and Steve Cowart will be fishing in first class style for the ’07 & ’08 seasons. Chris and Steve signed a two year deal with Ultra Cat Boats last week. They will be working with the Ultra Cat team to custom rig the new 22’ specifically for the tournament trail. Powered by an Evinrude 200 HO E-Tec the team could not find themselves in any better situation. Capt. Chris has been in an Ultra Cat since early 2006 for his charter business and that boat carried them to the IFA Redfish Tour Texas Team of the Year. “We couldn’t be more excited. The thought of Ultra Cat joining forces with us shows their commitment to the sport and to the consumer. We will be working with Ultra Cat in the way of hands on feedback in which Ultra Cat will use that information to build the best boat on the market” Kohnert said. With delivery of the new boat scheduled for late September Chris and Steve should be running the 22’ in the IFA Redfish Tour National in November at Panama City, Florida. Good Luck RedfishTeam!!
