(7/21/07) Kemah, TX – Redfishteam.com continued their streak of respectable finishes in the third Texas Redfish Series tournament of the year at the Kemah Boardwalk Saturday. In front of a record crowd, the team of Chris Kohnert and Trent Bishop weighed in two fish totaling 10.68 lbs. On a day when weighing in two fish was the exception, the team managed to place 21st. The team now finds themselves just one place out of the top ten in the TRS series Team of the Year standings, with one more event before the finals in September.

“To come into Galveston and have the success we did is really a nice feeling. Historically, Galveston has been a tough place for us to find nice fish. Trent and I caught fish all day, but we just could not find that seven pounder we needed”, said Kohnert.

“Scot and Jim and their crew did a great job of putting this tournament on. The Kemah Boardwalk was a great place for the weigh-in, and the families of all the anglers really seemed to enjoy the atmosphere”, said Bishop. “This was a great venue for the teams to thank their sponsors.”
